Leeuwarden/Hong Kong, August 17, 2022 – The electric vehicle manufacturer Carver, known for its narrow city vehicles with unique tilting technology, has opened a sales branch in Hong Kong. The first twenty Carvers are now driving through the streets of the metropolis. The opening of this branch fulfills a long-cherished wish to provide the residents of this city with a solution to the increasing traffic problem.

Anton Rosier, CEO of Carver: 'The move to Hong Kong fits in with Carver's strategy to relieve major cities from traffic jams. The Carver offers an excellent alternative, especially in large cities. We see that more and more residents of cities are looking for solutions to replace the regular car. With the rise of so-called 'light electric vehicles' there is an attractive and comfortable alternative. One that is often exempt from local surcharges such as those levied in London for regular means of transport. Moreover, the use of LEV is also very beneficial for the air quality, which is often substandard in larger cities.'

With the Carver S+, with a maximum speed of 80 km/h and a range of 100 km, Carver has great expectations for the Hong Kong market. In addition, the Carver Cargo offers an excellent alternative for the business market.
