Two companies raised €6,5 million in new capital via NPEX in just over a week, which was a record, according to the Dutch SME exchange. In an interview with BNR Nieuwsradio, CEO Mark van der Plas says he expects significant growth for the stock exchange in the coming period.

The trade fair for small and medium-sized businesses NPEX will open its doors again next week. In November, the trading platform had to close temporarily because it no longer met the requirements of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets.

NPEX was an exchange without trading for months, but that is about to change. The alternative exchange has the correct license from the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). Investors can sell their shares and loans again from next week, the company announced on Wednesday.
