Annual figures 2020
The 2020 annual figures of MTD Holding BV are ready in draft form. As with most companies in the events sector, MTD's figures are also not positive due to Covid-19. For 2020 we arrive at a turnover of €7,5 million (50% of which comes from events). According to the draft annual figures, the negative operating result (EBITDA) amounts to € 2,7 million. We expect to have the final annual accounts available at the end of the third quarter of 2021. The completion of the annual accounts is more complex this year due to the intensive audit required for the NOW and TVL government schemes.
Let the games begin!
In Tokyo we are currently making the final preparations for the Olympic Games. Despite the restrictions due to Covid-19 and the blockage in the Suez Canal, the project team managed to deliver all competition locations and other projects on time. Contrary to some news reports, we have so far no reason to believe that the Olympic Games will not take place. We are in direct contact with Tokyo Organizing Committee Olympic Games about this.
