Broekhuis Group will start selling Carver vehicles in January 2023. Broekhuis also offers companies and private individuals the solution for the 'last mile', thanks to the fully electric drive of the vehicle on three wheels.
The addition of Carver to Broekhuis' products fits within the strategy to create a complete mobility offering. In addition to the Carver city vehicles, Broekhuis also offers its customers cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. Recently, 3 bicycle shops have also been added in North Holland and Groningen and 2 camper companies in the center of the country. The Carvers will be in the showroom of Broekhuis Hyundai and Mitsubishi Almere and Broekhuis Peugeot Enschede from January.
With the Carver, Broekhuis offers its business and private customers a relevant and sustainable product. Ideal for short distances and, thanks to the electric drive, perfect for cities where emission-free zones have been introduced, which means that diesel commercial vehicles are banned from city centers. That is why the Carver offers new possibilities. Moreover, the vehicle is affordable.
“The Carver is an interesting product for many of our customers. At Broekhuis Zakelijk we will introduce our business customers to this possible addition to their fleet. In addition, we offer Carver to both business and private lease drivers in our lease catalogue,” say Marc Reijsbergen and Chris Boensma, the branch directors who will be offering the Carvers from their branches in Almere and Enschede from the new year.
Carver supplies vehicles that are as safe and comfortable as a car and as agile as a motorcycle. In addition, they are electric. Ideal for cities and villages: they are small and therefore take up little space. Carver has launched two models: the Carver for two people and the Carver Cargo with a loading space of 500 liters.
They come in three versions: the Base, which can travel at a speed of 45 kilometers per hour, and the faster S+, which can reach a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour. Both the Base and the S+ have a range of 100 kilometers. The third version is the R+, which can travel at a speed of 45 kilometers per hour and has a range of 130 kilometers.
